We pull sold comps on StockX and Grailed before we give you a number, so whatever we're telling you is based on what people are actually paying right now, not some number we made up.

Both matter but in different ways. Season determines the ceiling — like there's a reason a 2002 box logo tee is worth more than a 2022 one even if the 2022 one looks brand new. But condition is what gets you to that ceiling or drags you way below it. A rare season piece that's completely trashed isn't gonna get you close to what it could. And a more recent piece in perfect deadstock condition can still earn you a solid offer even if it's not a grail. Tell us the season when you come in. Tags first — font, spacing, the way the care label looks. Then the print quality on the box logo itself. The font on Supreme box logos is very specific and fakes almost always mess up the kerning or the thickness of the letters. Stitching on the inside of hoodies tells you a lot too. The hardware on jackets. The rubber on the Supreme camp caps. We've seen a lot of fakes at this point and we can usually catch them pretty fast. There's also fees on Grailed, the time to find a buyer, shipping, and the risk of disputes. We offer less than potential top-of-market because we're taking on all of that and paying you now. The tradeoff is you walk out with cash today instead of waiting weeks or months for the right buyer.

Yeah, age alone doesn't disqualify a piece. Amiri's aesthetic hasn't changed dramatically season to season so older pieces aren't dated in the same way fast fashion would be. The MX1 from five seasons ago and the MX1 from last season look pretty similar to buyers. Condition and colorway matter way more than how old it is.
